SuperTrend, also known as Super Trend, is a very high-quality trend forex EA. This EA is naked K and does not use any indicators internally.
The Strategy Principle of SuperTrend
1. Judging trends
We define a box (mainly for the convenience of understanding), which contains the nearest 66 (adjustable) K-wires. The highest point of these 66 candlesticks is the top of the box, and the lowest point of these 66 candlesticks is the bottom of the box. As long as the current price is more than 60 points away from the bottom (adjustable), EA will determine that the current trend is bullish; As long as the current price is more than 60 points away from the top (adjustable), EA will determine that the current trend is bearish.
Parameter - "Period of Trend Box" is the number of K-lines used to adjust the box's judgment. If the number of judgment points remains unchanged and the period of the trend box is reduced, only a more straight trend can meet the requirements.
Parameter - 'Distance between current price and top/bottom', which adjusts the number of points between the current price and the top/bottom. If the number of candlesticks remains constant, reduce the distance between the current price and the top/bottom. So even the less obvious trend can meet the requirements.
2. Find the callback point
Here we use the second box, which only contains 9 K-wires (numbers can be set) and is a very small box. For the convenience of describing the various positions of the box, we define the horizontal position of the top of the box as 100; The horizontal position at the bottom of the box is 0; So the middle level is 50.
