Brokerage executive Anastasios Lamaris has joined Tauro Markets as the firm’s new Head of Dealing.
Lamaris was most recently the Head of Dealing at rival broker Octa Markets. He spent almost 12 months at the firm as the brokerage group’s Head of Dealing for its Cypriot entity.
Prior to working at Oxta, Lamaris worked at Scope Markets for just over two years.
He was initially the company’s Head of Brokerage and later became the brokerage group’s Head of Dealing for its CySEC-regulated entity.
Lamaris started his career in the trading industry at broker OBRinvest. He spent just over 12 months as a dealer at the broker before moving to Scope Markets.
Tauro Markets is a relatively new brand that was launched in 2023.
The broker has hired a number of executives who were previously at BDSwiss. The company’s CEO Alexander-Wilhelm Oelfke, who was also one of the founders of the business, was also CEO at BDSwiss for close to three years.
