Pound Rises Against Majors

(fxcue news) - The British pound strengthened against other major currencies in the European session on Monday. The pound rose to a 3-week high of 0.8500 against the euro and a 6-day high of 1.3354 against the U.S. dollar, from early lows of 0.8545 and 1.3280, respectively. Moving away from an early 4-day low of 1.1003 against the Swiss franc, the pound advanced to a 3-week high of 1.1082. Against the yen, the pound edged up to 191.56 against the yen, from an early high of 190.67. If the pound extends its uptrend, it is likely to find resistance around 0.83 against the euro, 1.35 against the greenback, 1.15 against the franc and 195.00 against the yen.

USD/JPY： Near 144.03, under pressure and falling back, you can try short-term short selling with a target of 142.27 and a stop loss set at 144.30

Gold trading strategy: 3290-93 short, stop loss 3302, target 3272-60.

For gold:Buy at 3270-3265, with a stop loss at 3256. The target is 3290-3310;Sell at 3335-3340, with a stop loss at 3344. The target is 3300-3280;

Long position on spot gold at 3272, with a stop loss of 7 points. After a breakout, take a long position at 66-58, with individual stop losses of 7 points each, or a unified stop loss of 50. The profit-taking targets are at 86, 98, and 12. Continue to reduce holdings if these levels are broken.

Taking a long position on US crude oil today at 62.9, with a stop loss at 62.4. The profit-taking targets are at 63.2, 64, and 65.2. If these levels are broken, further targets are at 65.6 and 66.

Attempting a long position on EUR/USD at 1.12950, with a stop loss at 1.12750. The profit-taking targets are near 1.13650, 1.13850, 1.14100, and 1.14350. Upon reaching these levels, prepare to exit the long position and enter a short position.

Short position on silver today at 33.55, with a stop loss at 33.7. The targets for profit-taking are at 32.75, 32.5, and 32.25. Upon reaching these levels, prepare to exit the short position and enter a long position.
